SCOPE has set up an Alternate Dispute Redressal Forum known as SCOPE Forum of Conciliation and Arbitration (SFCA). The main aim and objective of the Forum is to settle the disputes between Public Sector Enterprises (PSEs) and their associates expeditiously at a minimal cost as compared to other forums.
SFCA has framed its own Rules and Regulations in accordance with Arbitration & Conciliation Laws. It has a panel of Conciliators and Arbitrators consisting of retired Judges of Supreme Court of India, High Courts, District Courts, Officers of higher Judicial Services; retired senior Govt. officials of the rank of Secretary, Additional Secretary, Joint Secretary; serving and retired CMDs, Directors and Senior executives of PSEs and experts & professionals viz., Chartered Accountants, Engineers, Advocates. At present, Forum has more than 500 empaneled Conciliators and Arbitrators from all across the country.
Many PSUs have already opted SFCA Clause in their contracts and the Forum has been working successfully since its inception as it has finalized a large number of Conciliation and Arbitration cases.
The Forum has its own air-conditioned Arbitration Halls with all facilities like projector etc. for holding the Arbitration/Conciliation Meetings in a very conducive atmosphere. At present the charges for Arbitration hall is Rs. 6490/- (inclusive of GST).
